We had an amazing time! This vacation lived up to every high expectation I had for it and fulfilled a dream I have always had of going to Greece.
Thank you and your team for changing our hotel in Athens so we didn't have to deal with the protests. Also, thank you for ensuring our luggage made it to the correct hotel. We received it before we departed for Santorini. That added level of service was not expected, but greatly appreciated. Our suite at the Hilton provided us a nice view of the Acropolis, which we took advantage of by taking lots of pictures.
On your suggestion, we were able to see the Changing of the Guards without interruption the day we arrived in Athens. Unfortunately, we were not able to get into the Acropolis or the New Acropolis Museum the next day due to the strike, but our tour guide compensated by taking us on a great tour of the city and explaining a lot of its history. Effie, our guide, ensured we were well educated and entertained despite the issues caused by the strike. She also took us to Filopappos Hill, where we had an unobstructed view of Athens and were able to take some great photos of the city and the Acropolis.
The hotel on Santorini, Andronis Luxury Suites, was breathtaking. The views were inspiring and the chef at the hotel restaurant created dishes that make me hungry just thinking about them. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Our time there was exactly what we needed. We would definitely stay there again.
I cannot even describe how amazing the sunsets are in Oia. Each night we tried to find a new location to view the changing colors in the sky. We also managed to get up and see a sunrise, which was equally as spectacular. The walk to Fira from Oia added even more memories, and pictures, of our wonderful Greek vacation. Thank you for making it the most it could be.

We have been so busy since we got back from our Greek vacation, but I just wanted to take the time to let you know how pleased we were with our vacation.
First of all---THANKS a million for Takis!! He was great and was the perfect guide for us. Not too much information, just enough and he was always able to answer any questions that we had. He allowed us time where we wanted extra time and he was ready to move on when we were ready.
All of our accommodations were perfect---each of our hotel rooms had a balcony with an incredible view (one of our requests) and the staff at each hotel was very accommodating and eager to make everything perfect. I think we must of had the best room at each of the hotels--I can't imagine it being any better! At Hotel Europa (the one in Olympia) the owner was in the lobby when we arrived, he immediately recognized Takis and although a bus was checking in he (the owner) personally got our room key and we didn't have to wait. The front desk staff and daily housekeeping staff at Elounda Mare were exceptionally friendly and our "bungalow" was amazing--so amazing that we left the resort only once for about 3 hours! HAHA!! I could sit on that balcony forever--it is so peaceful and the view was like no other! We were very tired from the mainland tours so Crete was the perfect ending of the vacation-- perfect for doing nothing, just enjoying the quiet and the time away from our stressful jobs. The Athens airport hotel was awesome also---I know that sounds crazy, but we couldn't believe how quiet the rooms were.
I really believe October is the time to visit Greece---most of our photos have few people in the background and we didn't have to wait for anything anywhere! We are so glad that we decided to do the private tour instead of bus tours--we saw more of what we were interested in and didn't feel like we were wasting any of our precious vacation time. Thanks also to your office for changing our flight from Crete back to Athens (we got an earlier flight so we would have more time to sleep for our international flight the next morning). It was really nice to know that your office is "right there" in case we needed anything, but it was even more wonderful that we didn't need anything the entire 10 days---Not one thing would I have changed! Thanks to you, your office and all of your hotel affiliates for a perfect vacation!

Sorry it took me so long to respond. It has been a bit crazy since we got back. We miss Greece already. We had an amazing trip! We kept raving about every last detail, it was all perfectly timed and very well suited for us.
Athens was very nice. The Divani Acropolis was in a perfect spot, the dinner and view on the rooftop was like a dream. Tasos our guide was very helpful and made it fun with his personality and stories.
The flight to Santorini was short and sweet, which was nice and a beautiful landing spot. What an amazing island. We were very happy with Oia and the Andronis was more than words can say. It was beautiful and the staff were sweet and very accommodating. We were very happy with our room and our choice of stay. Thira was nice as well, we did visit
it for dinner and shopping, but were glad we were staying in Oia...much more quiet and quaint.
I have attached a few photos of our trip....we have been recommending Greece and your services to everyone we know. Just great!
