I've been trying to find the time to send you a note of thanks but there aren't enough hours in the day. Before I continue....Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. My family and I had the most glorious time in Greece. Thank you for making it happen. Our hotels just kept getting better each time we changed locations. That was nice. We loved the Acropolis Select (tight space). The location was perfect. We walked into Plaka with no problem. Walked to our favorite cafe and pastry shop every afternoon with no problem. Our tour guide was beyond belief. She was kind, patient, and very informative but, most of all......she made the ruins come alive for us. Obviously, she is passionate about what she does. She was dramatic when she told us about the history of the Gods. We enjoyed having her for our personal guide. She told us about her favorite pastry shop. Boy was it good. You should use her as much as you can.
Santorini was magnificent. The island was very dry but filled with a lot of history. We did many of the things you had on the list. We visited the Black Beach, the Red Beach, the Winery and took the local bus to Oia. Shopping there was fun and the food was great. Next time I'd love to stay on the hill. The Sphinx had the best food in Fira. Thanks for recommending that one. The Gyros were also good in Fira. They made me vegetarian gyros. Can you believe that? The El Greco Resort was beautiful and most of all the service was fantastic. The thing that got to us the most was the walking. We walked everyday from the resort up the hill to the town of Fira. The only negative thing about going between islands was having to go back to Athens before each new destination. We were not told that we were limited to a certain amount of kilos on Aegean Airlines. We ended up paying for a lot of overweight.
The Island of Rhodes was the best. We were greeted by Barbara shortly after our arrival at the Resort. She laid out a map of the island and told us what there was to do in Rhodes. We all thought that was a nice touch. We did not set anything up with her because we kept getting information from other guest in the hotel. We did a great deal of things on our own. It was very easy to get a taxi to take us around. We took a tour to Turkey. That was not what we thought it was going to be. Felt as if we took the ferry to go shopping at the mall....... The Old Town was great. We met some really special people there. We shopped 5 out of the 7 days there. We purchased LOTS of jewelry, household items, and gifts for our friends. OK. The best thing for us on Rhodes was the authentic Greek food. We found a place off the beaten path that came with many surprises. The food was so good that for days after I returned to the States, my taste buds could not be satisfied. LE Gourmet Restaurant. Ran by Maria and her husband. Wide selection of Greek food, courteous staff and great prices. We needed a wheel barrel to cart us away from the table every night. Maria and her daughter made us feel right at home. The thing that makes this restaurant so special was the way in which Maria would make the entire dining room interacts with one another. It was great. By the end of your meal you would know the people at the surrounding tables. There was lots of laughter in the place. Where there is good food you find happy people. The staff at the Sheraton recommended we try Le Gourmet. We went there for dinner every night we were on the island.

Thank you for making this all happen for us. It was the trip of a lifetime. We all have so many wonderful memories from Greece. I hope that you will be with Travelive when we head to Tuscany in 2013.

Dear Mina,
We are back home safely after our wonderful adventure in Greece. I must say we had the time of our lives in your beautiful country. I want to thank you for creating the perfect vacation for us. My birthday celebration was truly a dream come true. The accommodations at Athens Gate, Athens, Petasos Beach Resort and Spa, Mykonos and Rocabella Luxury Suites & Spa, Santorini were excellent. They all afforded absolutely beautiful properties, stylish rooms, breathtaking views, convenient locations, delicious food and friendly and experienced staff. Special thanks to the staff who helped make our stay enjoyable.* Our tour guide, Stella, provided an informative and interesting tour of the sites of Athens. All private transportation was punctual and comfortable. The business class seating on the ferry to Santorini was a nice surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Overall, a top notch vacation and a great time was had by all!
Again, many thanks for all your efforts and I look forward to working with you on plans for future trips to the Amalfi Coast of Italy and Sydney & Melbourne, Australia. :)

A huge thanks to Marina, Travelive and your travel partners in Crete for making our 6 day trip to Crete this summer fabulous. We were met in Heraklion by Yannis and during the short trip to Rymethon we really got in the Cretan spirit by his low music, video and answers to our questions. Upon arrival at our hotel, Avli, the greeting by Thanasi with a glass of wine and Cretan appetizers was just what was needed. The accommodations at this Historical Hotel of Europe were in a restored 15th century Venetian Palace with all the amenities of any top hotel in the world.
We really liked the sound of the fountain in the morning. The hotel offered us great hospitality, fabulous food and outstanding service. The breakfasts, based on tradition Cretan cuisine, was extraordinary, fresh juices, butter, breads, yogurt, honey eggs, cheeses, pitas were all to die for. Our tour of Knossos with Giorgio our private guide was really special (Yianni was our driver again). Giorgio customized the tour with emphasis on the interest of our group, architecture and history, not to mention that he made sure to find all the shady spots for discussions and best ways to view the site free from large groups. Yianni was happy to take us through one of the many wine areas of Crete and to a winery on our return to Rythymon.
Travelive customized our trip so we had plenty of time to explore on our own and I would highly recommend anyone going to Crete either have a driver or let Avli make arrangements for a rental and explore the mountains and the south of Crete. Lastly, the restaurant at Avli is one of the best that we have found in Europe or the States. So great that we ate their every night that we were in town. The food, wine and service are impeccable. I highly recommend it to anyone who visits Crete. I have been to Greece more time than I can remember and even to Crete before but this was the most exceptional trip, especially for my husband who had never been to Crete. We can’t wait to go back and explore more. Of course we will let Travelive handle all our arrangements again.

I've been meaning to get around to this email for a while and just wanted to let you know that our time in Greece was truly a trip of a lifetime. Sara and I actually got engaged while in Santorini. We definitely hope we'll be back there in the future. As far as feedback, the Porto Mykonos and Rocabella definitely exceeded all expectations. Both properties were stunning and the staff was top quality. The Amalia in Athens was perfectly located and ideal for exploring Athens as we spent little time at the hotel. The Lagos Mare was an excellent property, but I would say not on the same caliber as the other islands...although we did receive a room upgrade here that was very much appreciated. All of the transfers were great and we definitely appreciated you and your staff's support during the trip. I have talked to lots of friends, family and coworkers about the trip, so I may have some good referrals in the coming months.

We had a great time on our trip to Greece. I don't think I can pick a favorite stop, each of the destinations had its own unique flavor and pace. In Athens the mix of history and contemporary was really interesting. The ruins were amazing, and our guide was very knowledgeable. The beaches of Mykonos are beautiful and relaxing. The cliffs of Santorini offered spectacular views. And the island of Crete offered a bit of everything. The people were really friendly and we had a great time exploring all of the locations. Though we felt like we were eating constantly (too much great food to resist) The walking balanced it out, and the cafe's offered a mini rest from our daily adventures. Everything went smoothly and the transfers between islands were easy and well organized. Even though there was the taxi strike at the end of our stay, our hotel worked out the details and found us a comfortable ride to the airport, without stress.
Thanks for all of your efforts in making this vacation a wonderful memory.

The locations were amazing and it was so nice not having to worry about ...all the little details like the private cars, ferry tickets, etc. Being in a foreign country can make a person a little anxious, but I always felt reassured that we could reach someone if we needed help. I can't believe you even helped us out on the phone one night after 11pm! You are the best and if anyone is looking to travel in Greece (or Italy or Turkey), I completely recommend you!

Jeff and I just wanted to thank you for your help in organizing our recent honeymoon in Greece.
In Athens we stayed in Hilton, and had an amazing view of the Acropolis. In Mykonos we selected Santa Marina Resort. The property was spectacular and had private beach in one the most beautiful peninsulas of the island. We partied it up in the Mykonos Town which was only few km away. Our most favorite part of the honeymoon was spent in Santorini. We selected Mystique in Oia and the property with its amazing views took our breaths away.
We received incredible treatment and really enjoyed all the amenities that the hotel had to offer. The location was perfect. We would highly recommend staying in Oia, taking steps down to the water, eating in Ambrosia restaurant, and taking the sunset cruise. The sunsets in Santorini deserve a special mention are unlike all the sunsets we had viewed before.
We were extremely happy with Travelive, all their research, and services. Everything was arranged in timely manner and we didn't have any problems.
Overall, amazing service!
