Athens
The city of the
Olympic Idea and the majestic Acropolis is the
crossroads where east meets west and home to many
cultural and fashion events. From her proud temples to
the music players in the streets, this city displays her
extensive history at every turn. Weave your way from
Constitution Square to the beautiful national monuments
through lush parks surrounded by preserved Corinthian
columns. The new transportation system and pedestrian
promenades efficiently interlace the antiquities, parks
and many areas rich in nightlife like Plaka, Psirri and
Thissio. Tradition, history, and modernity fuse
harmoniously. Athens has become a modern city model that
other European cities wish to emulate, especially after
the 2004 Olympics. The streets have become public art
museums where one can find a sculpture exhibition along
side the ancient outdoor theater of Herodion, where
festivals take place every summer, or a contemporary
photo exhibit in the metro station. The beauty, music,
art and culture and lively nightlife of Athens make
Athenians proud and delighted visitors wish they could
stay longer to experience more. While the visitor is
sure to visit Plaka, there are many other charming areas
of Athens. For example: Psirri, with its boutiques,
enchanting tavernas, cafes and bars; where tiny alleys
hold centuries of stories like the rembetika-filled
nights where the women who inspired the likes of Lord
Byron were coaxed from their balconies. Visit Kolonaki
to shop the designer boutiques at the Acropolis
foothills or have a coffee on the square. Places like
the pine clad Lycabettus hill with its chapel of St.
George offer a panoramic view of the city, are a
visitor's must. The nearby Athens suburbs by the
waterfront are also easy to get to and a delight to
visit. Athens is filled with wondrous sights and
surprises.

Santorini.
The enchanting island of the Southern Aegean Sea is a
miracle. A blessed site of incredible beauty, created by the
most terrifying and violent disaster in nature. Its wild
beauty, unique architecture, black and red beaches, its
3,500 years old archaeological site at Akrotiri, its famous
wineries and its dramatically aesthetic sunsets attract
visitors to this tiny island from all over the world.
Santorini is perhaps the most stunning landscape the world
has to offer.

No other city in the
world equals the history of the Eternal City. Founded more
than 2700 years ago, the city of Rome reigned as the Caput
Mundi, or Capital of the World.
With a heady blend of artistic and architectural
masterpieces, classical ruins, and extravagant baroque
churches and piazzas ,
Rome is Italy's treasure trove, packed with two millennia of
artistic achievement. It's here that a metropolis once
bustled around the carved marble monuments of the Roman
Forum, where centuries later Michelangelo Buonarroti
(1475-1564) painted Christian history in the Sistine Chapel,
where Gian Lorenzo Bernini's nymphs and naiads dance in
their fountains, and where an empire of gold was worked into
the crowns of rulers for centuries. For culture-seekers and
historians this city simply oozes with possibilities for
discovery, a chance to step back in time yet have one foot
firmly in the present. It’s one city where you can have an
espresso in a square designed by Bernini, then take modern
metro (train) back to your hotel room in a renovated
Renaissance palace.

the Roman Forum around which ancient Rome was developed and

favourite of the Roman people also features on our

symbolic center and held the Temple of Jupiter. Nowadays,
it hosts the Municipality of Rome.

The Amalfi Coast is a beautiful and
renowned stretch of mountainous coastline south of Naples,
in Campania. The southern end of the Bay of Naples stretches
out in a steep and rocky peninsula that reaches towards the
Isle of Capri.
Sorrento, another major
tourist destination, looks back towards Naples from the
north coast of the peninsula. The southern side of the
peninsula is dotted with picturesque villages and towns
clinging giddily to cliffs; this is what is known as the
Amalfi Coast. Surrounded by steep rugged mountain cliffs 700
meters high that drop dramatically into the deep blue
Mediterranean, it has been a magnet for the
rich and famous for 50 years. The Amalfi coast is
unique in the world for its natural beauty, breath-taking
views, colors and characteristics. Small picturesque fishing
villages are scattered in clusters, upon the front face of
the mountain. Villas, churches and corner shops are built
cut out of the rock, on top of each other climbing up the
mountain from the water's edge. All buildings are surrounded
by beautifully kept gardens and terraces, narrow pebbled
streets and endless steps, lemon trees, grape and olive
vines and the perfume of nature. It is a presence rich in
history and culture, which is still alive today, among so
many artistic memories of the past. Amalfi introduced
instruments, such as the compass, and ideas such as the
fundamentals of navigation, to the West. From these roots,
originated the friendly hospitality and generosity of the
people from the Coast thoughtful towards visitors and
travelers, today as yesterday.
AMALFI COAST,
HALF DAY PRIVATE
TOUR: POMPEII
With its excavated
area, extending for approximately 44 ha, and the
preservation state of its buildings, due to the particular
burial (under a blanket of 6 meter of ash and rock) caused
by the eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 AD, Pompeii can be
considered the only archaeological site which gives the real
image of roman city. And the image is similar to cities, not
preserved, of the same period. Despite wars waged on its
soils, despite assaults by earthquakes and a volcano
nineteen centuries ago, Pompeii is still vibrant and
accessible. Wander from mosaic to monument, temple to
theatre, envision life in this legendary city.
This in-depth private tour is hosted by an English-speaking
guide. Entrance
fees are not included
