Hi Mina,

We just received your letter inquiring about our trip. I'm so glad you wrote as it reminded me that I wanted to pass along a few things about our experience. I have also attached a Powerpoint slide show that Mike put together for our friends and family. You do not need PowerPoint to view it. I hope you enjoy it.

We wanted to thank you for providing us with a truly once-in-a-lifetime (up to this point) experience. We had a fabulous and trouble-free trip! We really wanted to tell you that the Nikos Takis Boutique Hotel in Old Rhodes city is FABULOUS and very nice. As you know, we weren't in the priciest suite there, but the room was well-appointed and had the most comfortable bed we slept in the whole trip. The staff there was wonderful and very helpful and the breakfast is great. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and hope you will to future clients as well.

On a separate note, we came across the Cava D'Oro hotel while walking around the walled city. What a disappointment. We didn't see the inside, but I am SOOOO glad that we did not end up staying in there. Besides the fact that it's at the opposite end of the city from the GrandMaster's Palace (while Nikos Takis is right next door), it is right up against the walled city by the port and not in a very scenic or touristy part of the city. It looks like a real hole-in-the-wall. I'm not sure how much extra money we spent to stay at Nikos Takis instead of Cava D'Oro, but it was worth every penny and then some.

The only other thing you might want to mention to clients going to Greece from the US is to not bother buying any olive oil or liquor to bring home. We had to throw out several bottles of EVOO and alcohol that we bought in Athens and were trying to take to Rhodes. The airport rep wouldn't let us take them in our suitcases on the plane. Coming home, you also cannot buy any liquids in the Duty Free or Greece shops at the airport. We were quite disappointed to find this out too late and would have saved our money had we known. Since the regulations have changed recently, I figured I would pass that along.

Thanks again for all your help. We will definitely keep you in mind when we have the opportunity to travel abroad again, now that we know you don't just serve Greece! Mike also has a friend who is interested in honeymooning in Greece next Spring. We have already given him your contact info!

Hi Mina.

I think you may still be in Greece.  I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful holiday we had.  Everything ran like clockwork...flights, transfers, hotels, everything.  It was perfect.  We loved all of the hotels, and Jordan was a very knowledgeable, entertaining guide in Athens. Even though we only had two quick stays at the Grand Bretagne, they upgraded us each time with champagne and strawberries waiting in our rooms.

Thanks for everything, Mina.  It was a very special holiday.

We're trying to finally catch up w/things, after relaxing quite a bit & enjoying married life. Thanks again for all your help. The honeymoon was amazing, every day, every island. Thank you for taking care of the Mykonos hotel situation for us. Pelican Bay ended up being our favorite hotel by far. There was just such a quaint, relaxed feel to it & staying by Platis Gialos totally made the difference for us. But Naxos was, by far, our favorite island. Agios Prokopios, the town, the reasonably priced taverna classics, the scenery & beautiful drives, the snorkeling, and 3 nights in a row ending at Waffle Haus! We've already referred Becky  & Ryan to you who are in Greece as we speak! And we'll continue to refer more friends. Attached you'll find photos from our trip for your site.

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier, but I would like you to know that all of the arrangements went like clockwork.  Thanks for your professionalism in lining all of this up.  Had a great few days in Athens, despite the heat.  Santorini was wonderful.  Chromata was a delightful surprise.  I would highly recommend.  Crete was very relaxing.  Blue Palace was nice, but a bit on the always expensive side--for everything.  Not much of a beach there, but made due with the facilities.

We just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much we enjoyed our unforgettable honeymoon in Greece. It was truly amazing and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. You have been such a professional which made our experience so much more carefree and relaxing. We knew that we were in great hands from the second we arrived in Athens. We also wanted to extend our appreciation for your recommendation of the guided tour in Athens. Our travel guide, Takis (not sure if the spelling is correct), was a gem. If there is anything you can do to give his company a review on our behalf, we'd greatly appreciate it. Takis was a pro!

One last thing...we have friends who are interested in booking their honeymoon with you as well, but they would like to travel to Italy, specifically Rome, Amalfi Coast, and Capri. Please let  me know if you are interested in getting their contact information or if you can refer an agent. I am unsure if Italy is one of your specialties, but am assuming that someone at your agency may like to take this on. They will be traveling in July 2008.  Just let me know when you have a moment if you are interested.

Shannon and I just returned from Hellas Sunday and we had a FABULOUS time! Can't thank you enough for all your hard work on our behalf.

The hotel accommodations were first class, especially Katikies (which is a work of art in itself). The locations were stunning, the food was incredible, and the people (especially Jordan) were so warm and fun...

I could go on and on. It really was a flawless trip, everyone/thing was on time, convenient... we even picked up about 20 words/phrases in Greek so by the end we were practically native ;-)

And THE WINE!!! Did I forget to mention the wine?...
