Dear Mina:

We are in Mykonos already, so I don't think its worth paying for the insurance, so lets forget it for this trip.

I am so glad you emailed me because I want to tell you how happy we are with the trip so far. The Electra Palace was a really great hotel. We loved it. the people were so fantastic to us, we almost didn't want to leave.

Athens is incredible. We had such a good time, saw marvelous things, ate great food, met wonderful people. Athens is a gem. Don't let any of your tourists miss it because it is a big city. It was wonderful. We got up this morning and i realized that i lost my wallet. I had to take a cab back to the restaurant we had dessert in last night - and after fifteen minutes of searching, one of the guys found it. I just made it back to the Electra to get our cab. Phew!

We now are at the Mykonos Grand. This may be the most beautiful hotel we were ever at which includes the Regent in Hong Kong. We were met at the door. Roberta took us to a private room and not only registered us, but gave us a map with all the good restaurants. Then gave us a tour of the hotel. WE have never had this before. The place is gorgeous. We are going into Mykonos town tonight for dinner and renting a car on Sunday and going to some of the beaches.

Joseph and I got back from Greece on Wednesday and we wanted to thank you so much for making our dreams come true!! We had an amazing time at Athens, Mykonos and Santorini but we especially loved our experience at the Petasos beach in Mykonos. This resort was amazing with breath taking views and it was very convenient having the two beaches onsite also the bus was right outside of the resort and it was only mins away into town.. Our Greece trip was fantastic! I just loved it! Our guides Jordan and Takis were great on our Athens and Delphi tours and I just loved Santorini.

Wow – that was a dream vacation and I want to go back. Thanks for all of your help in putting the trip together.

I did have one question though – The Aspaki Hotel would not accept the airport transfers either way, even though I had the coupons from you. I am thinking because you do not normally work with the Aspaki that the vouchers were then not accepted. Please let me know your thoughts on this because it did cause some confusion when we arrived. We had to pay 25 Euros each way for the ride. Thanks. Next time we will go with your hotel choices on Oia because the Aspaki had a few things I didn’t care for (like the bathroom, and I had to tell the cleaning guy to clean better – yuk!). But the deck had a stunning view of the caldera which was great.

Again – thanks for everything. I will certainly recommend your company to anyone who wants to go the Greece. It was the perfect blend of my love of history, of the geology and vulcanology of Santorini, of good food and lovely people. We also went up to Ancient Thera and my poor husband had to drive that road! But I had to go and see it, and hopefully next time the Akrotiri excavation will be open as I am fascinated with the stories of that ancient city.

We just got back last night and I wanted to let you know that the trip was amazing. All the arrangements you made worked perfectly without any problems. Each of the hotels were absolutely wonderful to us and the rooms were great. We loved the Aressana and are really glad we stayed there. The location was perfect and the service was very good. All my concerns were for nothing.

The Avli, of course, was beautiful and Nikos was so kind and helpful. There is so much to see in Crete, that our time wasn’t near enough.

Naxos was the best of all. It was so quiet and beautiful, that we could have stayed much longer. It was really an oasis for us and we were able to relax the most there. We had a lot of fun on a tour we took and loved going into Naxos town. The people at Lagos Mare were very nice and the room they gave us was beautiful. Our only complaint there was that the air conditioning broke while we were there and the room was so hot. Fortunately, they were able to give us a fan our last night, which helped.

Our guide in Athens, Nicholas, was fantastic and I would recommend him to anyone. He was knowledgeable and so much fun. We had a great day and a half with him, and enjoyed our stay in Athens

I wanted to let you know what a wonderful trip we had in Greece. While I think that many people would assume that any vacation in Greece would be great, the part that made it even better were the minor details. Sure, the hotels were fabulous and the islands were beautiful, but here are some things that made the vacation great vs. good.

It was so nice to get off of a plane or ferry in a foreign country and have someone waiting for you and ready to take you to where you need to be. Not only was that process incredibly smooth, but once at the hotel, the front desk would prompt you as to when your pick up will be for your next destination. It is nice to know that you have a good relationship with the hotels that you book for your clients. The locations of the hotels were fantastic. We loved the Petasos in Mykonos, not only was it a beautiful beachfront hotel, but the bus stopped right in front of the main lobby and the ferry to all the most popular beaches started from the port there, as well. So, transportation was so convenient. In Santorini, known for the sunsets, the view from our balcony seat in the hotel restaurant the first night there, in my opinion, was every bit as breathtaking as the view in Oia. Also, it was way more intimate and romantic than sharing it with 1000 other people. In Athens, we had initially wanted to book a tour of the city and all the major attractions, but when we realized how close to the major attractions we were, we ended taking the tour on our own and it turned out to be a much better choice.

Lastly, your agency handled the ferry delay in Mykonos superbly. Mina was very helpful and made us feel that we were in good hands. These details allow us to truly enjoy our vacation vs. worrying about where we needed be or have to go next. In addition, since I was planning this trip along with another couple for a 10 and 15 year anniversary, I was a little nervous as to how this whole process was going to pan out. If things did not go well for just the two of us it would not be as bad since I was the one planning the trip, but I would feel horrible if that happened with my girlfriend and her husband on the trip. So, you can imagine my relief when the lodging was beautiful, location was fantastic and the transfers from island to island went so smoothly.

I have had several people asked about my trip and plan on referring all of them to your agency. Thanks so much for organizing such a fantastic vacation. We look forward to using your agency again in the future.

We had a fabulous time, and wish to thank you for all your arrangements. Everything went off without a hitch. Drivers were there when and where we expected them, and were all very nice. My favorite was the guy who drove us to and from the port in Crete. He was so proud that he had installed a baby seat in the car for Elizabeth. Before he would even think about helping us with the luggage, the threw open the back door of the car, and said, "First, the bebe!" Unfortunately, he had installed the car seat upside down. I thought it was kind of cute.

The hotels were very good. The one in Santorini was perfect for us, with a small child. The room was OK. It was a little small and dark, but we didn't spend that much time in the room anyway. Elizabeth loved the pool. She wasn't so crazy about the beach. I am disappointed that we didn't get to see the sunset on the other side of the island. Next time..

The hotel on Crete was fantastic. We loved it! It was terribly romantic. The service was unparalleled. You can recommend Avli to couples, especially. It was fine for us, and as far as Elizabeth was concerned, the Jacuzzi on the roof was a perfect sized pool for her. Elizabeth charmed all the shopkeepers around the hotel. We have been calling her the queen of Rythemno.

Hello Mina,

WOW! Greece was amazing! Santorini took my breath away. We were able to shoot the most beautiful pictures in all three islands (Athens, Mykonos, Santorini).

I am glad we chose you to set up our trip. I kept saying “ I have a voucher for everything”, everything was like a well-oiled machine, from the transfers to the Hotel to our fabulous private tour guide. Nikos was amazing, I would recommend he go on all the private tours! Please let his company know what a wonderful time we had with him. He was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant.

Our hotel choices kept getting better and better with each island. My favorite was Rocabella. Angelika the concierge was amazing and extremely helpful. She recommended this semi-private catamaran ride around the island that took the entire day, we had dinner on the boat and watched the sunset from the sea sipping some excellent Santorini wine. AMAZING! I am so happy we got to experience something so beautiful. Thank you for making it a breeze.

We just returned from our wonderful "Aegean Escape" and want to thank you for your help in planning the perfect trip. Everything, from the moment we touched down in Athens until we sadly had to reboard the airplane 2 weeks later, was absolutely amazing. All the people we met, the hotels, transfers, transportation, sites we saw, were just the best.

Here are a few of our impressions of Greece in general:

Athens: The airport and surrounding landscape reminded us very much of the airport in Las Vegas and the hills around it. So much of the landscape is similar to what we have in California as well. The taxi driver was waiting for us and promptly delivered us to the Magna Grecia. What a cute hotel, and "location, location, location"! That first night we saw the full moon over the Acropolis from our room. WOW!! The intimacy of the hotel made it even more special. Our Athens tour with the soft-spoken Nikos was perfect. We decided we'd never be able to navigate the narrow streets on our own.

Mykonos: After a wind-buffeted flight, we arrived right on schedule to be met by the driver from the Petassos Hotel. The room, again, was perfect with a lovely view. We had fun taking the city bus into Mykonos town and wandering around poking through the little shops and restaurants. We were kept relatively cool the whole time there by some pretty breezy conditions and we loved all the walking we were able to do.

Santorini: The fun part of waiting for the tardy FlyingCat Ferry was talking with the people around us. It was an interesting experience getting on and off with our luggage and knowing everyone else was in the same boat, excuse the pun. Once again the taxi was waiting for us and we had a nice drive up to the Hotel Heliotopos. Another big WOW!! After meeting Yiota, and sharing a glass of wine, she took us down the 100 steps (after going up and down a few times, we decided to count them) toward the caldera to our beautiful room. We have a hard time finding the words to describe the beauty we'd seen only in pictures. And the quiet. . ."it was deafening". And, need we describe the sunsets? Once again the opportunity to walk, walk, walk was there. The path to Fira was gorgeous and the bougainvilleas were in full bloom. Even though we didn't, we wanted to pet and scratch each street-dog we saw. Our first night, after sunset, we set out for dinner, and on the way back, we unintentionally ended up on the path instead of the way Yiota had directed us. We must have looked a little lost because there was an elderly gentleman sitting out on his porch waving at us to come his way. He was peeling and eating cucumbers and insisted that we share some. We speak no Greek and he spoke no English, but he made us feel very welcome in his country. Even though we like to walk, a shadeless
2 1/2 hour trek into Oia seemed a bit much in the heat so we took the city bus along with MANY cruise ship "day-trippers" into town. The "sardine-can-like" ride was well worth it! One of the many things that amazed us is how everything was built, and how all the materials had to be hauled in, not to mention the beauty of it all.

Crete: We can't decide. . .did we like Crete or Santorini the best? Every place was wonderful, but if we HAD to choose, it would be one of these two. Once again our taxi was waiting at the dock for our once-again tardy ferry to take us the hour-long drive into Rethymno. When we arrived at Avli late that evening, Niko was waiting to take us up to our room, or "house", he called it. As before, we were amazed. It (the red suite) was absolutely lovely. And what a gentleman Niko is. He took time to visit with us over breakfast the next morning to be sure we were comfortable, and tell us about the town and surrounding area. We weren't brave enough to rent a car, so once again we walked, walked, walked and scouted out each and every little nook and cranny of Rethymno. One of the nights we had an excellent and relaxing meal at Avli. After the delicious breakfasts, it was a must. We also had the chance to meet Antonella and had a very nice visit with her the afternoon we had to leave. Such nice people we met throughout our stay in Greece.

So Mina, there you have it, 2 extremely satisfied clients, or guests as Niko and Antonella insisted we were. We are so glad we found your internet site and booked our vacation with you. Our trip was a true vacation, awesome, in the best sense of the word, and truly relaxing. The sites we saw, the people we met, all the food we tried and loved have all made us grateful for the opportunity to visit another part of this wonderful world in which we live.

You are AWESOME!

All the places have been great! The staff at each venue has been remarkable. Avli had the best cuisine of anywhere we had ever been and it was the one year anniversary of our first date. We showed up at Paradise Villa today and they had chocolates, champagne and a fruit platter delivered to our room. They let us know that because of their strong relationship with Travel2Greece we received the accommodation upgrade. Rose petals on the bed were also a very nice touch. Each time we leave a hotel Deanna and I prepare ourselves for a let down because we cannot imagine the next place being equal to the last. There have been no disappointments. The mix has been eclectic and very memorable again you are AWESOME!

Elina Moysiadi at the paradise villas was exceptional. She arranged a full day guided tour and itinerary with a day’s notice, which was great! She was also very helpful with the nightlife, restaurant and shopping.

I am sorry that I have been so busy that it took me close to a month to thank you for arranging a marvelous trip. Everything was perfect except for a few things on the bus trip). Mykonos was the perfect place to unwind. We fell in love with Naxos even though we hadn't planned on going there. It was beautiful. Comfortable and peaceful. Great cheeses, food and spices. We felt at home there and everywhere in Greece. Heliotopos was beautiful. Crete was lovely. Athens was spectacular. Even though I live in a big city that I think is beautiful, I generally don't like cities. But Athens was beautiful and reasonable. The Electra Palace was in the perfect location and we got the most perfect rooms each time with any unobstructed view of the Acropolis. I was at the dentist last week and they wanted me to think of something nice to get my mind off of the procedure. Initially, I was trying to think of the view from Heliotopos of the Santorini caldera, but what popped into my mind to relax me was the view of the Acropolis from our patio at the Palace!

It was on on memorable trip! We loved the hospitality of the Greek people, the food-so fresh and wonderful-the local wine, the scenery, the cats and the history. We wished that we stayed longer at each place even though I don't believe we had a rushed schedule.

Another very nice luxury was your arrangement for pick up and drop off at every hotel.
